As a massage therapist of close to 25 years, I have spent years studying different massage modalities. What I have discovered during the course of this timeframe is that very few massage therapy practices focus on structural and functional change in the body. Most massage therapy sessions are based upon relaxation and ease of tension.
Starting in 2024, I decided to shift my practice to focus on something that is scarce in our community, productive massage. What is productive massage? Productive massage is bodywork that elicits a change to the structure of the body. I use techniques that function to realign the muscular and skeletal systems of the body.
